I have a chart rendering problem. Sometimes the chart renders in the browser,
sometimes it does not. Even when it doesnâ't, it exports successfully to pdf,
etc. And it renders fine in VS.
I have tried a number of things and so far have succeeded only in reversing
the instances where the charts do and do not show. Iâ've searched newsgroups,
googled, and read, and finally found what looked like a link to a possible
solution only to find the service at that link temporarily unavailable. And
my boss wants to release my reports and charts by the end of the day!
Is there something I can do to get my reports to always render for the user?

Thanks,
CGWI saw your earlier post too that you had the small x mark instead of the
actual graph itself. This will happen when the reportserver is unable to set
a cookie. Add the reportserver URL to the trusted sites in your browser.
This problem will go away. Or another solution is to open the privacy icon
in your browser when this problem happens. This is the small red hyphen in
the bottom status bar of your browser. Double-click on this icon and it will
inform you that the cookies were blocked from this site. Select "Always
accept cookies from this site" and click on OK. Refresh the page and you are
back in action.
Hope this helps.

cookies and it didn't work. And it really doesn't seem like it would since
sometimes the chart does render. From what I can tell, googling, it's a known
problem with SQL Reports. I just can't find a known solution.
Thanks for trying. I still need help, though.

Goto your ReportServer database, and open up "ConfigurationInfo" table and
set
"UseSessionCookies" to false and give it a trrrry
